INGREDIENTS:
- Onion - 1(big)
- Tomatoes - 2
- Red chillies - 3
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
- Coconut(grated) -4 Tbsp
- Curry leaves - 1 string
- Channa dhal - 1 Tbsp
- Urad dhal - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Water - as needed
METHOD:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the urad dhal,channa dhal,red chillies,curry leaves and saute them till they are golden brown.
- Add onion and saute them well followed by tomatoes.
- Add grated coconut.
- Finally add coriander and mint leaves,stir for 3 minutes.Remove it from heat and cool the mixture.Grind it with salt.Serve it with Dosa,Idly or Kuli paniyarams.Enjoy!!
SCRIBBLED NOTES:
- Add water while grinding to adjust the consistency of chutney.
- Adjust red chillies according to your spice level.
